Audio Trimmer & Fader
Open an audio file, see its waveform, cut a section, apply fades, gain, normalization and mono, then save it as a WAV. The audio never leaves your browser.
Audio files are never sent to a server; everything is processed in this browser.
This browser does not support Web Audio.
Waveform
Drag on the waveform to select, and drag the orange lines to adjust start and end. You can also type values below (e.g. 1:23.5).
Saves 16-bit PCM WAV. MP3 export will be added later once the encoder licence is checked. A short fade removes the click at cut points. With more than 2 channels only the first two are used. The saved sample rate follows what the browser decoded (usually 48 kHz) and may differ from the original.
FAQ
Which files can I open?
Any format your browser can decode. Chrome and Edge open most MP3, AAC, OGG, FLAC and WAV; Safari may not open OGG or FLAC.
The saved file is bigger than the original.
WAV is uncompressed, so it is much larger than MP3 (about 10 MB per minute). Convert it afterwards if size matters.
