Device Check (camera, mic, keyboard, screen)
Test your camera, microphone, left/right speakers, keyboard input, and screen dead pixels and refresh rate right in the browser. Video and audio are never saved or sent to a server.

Use headphones for playback. Playing through speakers lets the mic pick the sound up again and can cause feedback.
Plays a test tone from the left, the right, or both. If the sides are swapped or one is silent, check the speaker/earphone connection and balance settings. Start with a low volume.
The tone is generated by the browser itself (no audio file). Bluetooth devices may delay or clip the start of the sound right after connecting.
Click the box below to focus it, then press keys. The key name, code and position appear, and every key you have pressed is collected below. Use it to find keys that do not register.

Hold several keys at once to see whether input drops (ghosting). Tab is not blocked because it is how you leave the box. Keys the operating system intercepts (the Windows key, some shortcuts) may not show.
Shows solid colors full screen so you can spot always-on or dead pixels, stains and backlight bleed. Click or press → for the next color, ← for the previous, Esc to close.
The refresh rate is measured from the browser's drawing interval. Power saving or a background tab can make it read lower than the real value, so keep this tab visible. With variable refresh (VRR) you get the value at that moment.
FAQ
The camera will not start.
Allow the camera in the address-bar icon and check that no other app (such as a video-call app) is using it. It does not work on pages that are not HTTPS.
The mic meter does not move.
Check that the right input device is selected in the operating system and that the mic is not muted. You can try another microphone from the device list.
How do I judge a dead pixel?
A point that stays lit on black, or is off or a different color on white and solid colors, is a defective pixel. Replacement policies differ by manufacturer — check the seller's rules.
