Typing Practice
Measure your typing speed with proverbs, short sentences and longer passages — keystrokes per minute for Korean, WPM for English — plus accuracy and the characters you got wrong. You can also practise on your own text, and nothing you type is sent to a server.
Line breaks in pasted text become a single space (up to 2,000 characters). Your own text does not count toward best records.

How are keystrokes counted?
A Korean syllable is built from several key presses, so speed is counted in actual keystrokes (jamo), not syllables: 「값」 is ㄱ ㅏ ㅂ ㅅ = 4 strokes; double consonants (ㄲ ㅆ …) are one stroke with Shift; compound final consonants (ㄳ ㄺ …) and compound vowels (ㅘ ㅢ …) need two keys = 2 strokes. Spaces, punctuation and each English letter count as 1. English WPM treats five characters as one word. Accuracy counts wrong syllables or characters with an edit distance.
FAQ
Where are my records stored?
Only in this browser’s localStorage — nothing is sent to a server, and clearing browser data removes them. Attempts under 90% accuracy are not saved as a best record.
Won’t Korean letters flash red while I type?
While your input method is still composing a syllable, the last character is not judged as wrong. It is judged once the syllable is finished.
