Voice & Screen Recorder
Record your microphone, screen or webcam right in the browser and save the file. Video and audio are processed only inside this browser and never sent to a server.
System-audio support depends on the browser and what you share (tab, window, whole screen). Turn on "Share audio" in the picker.
Recording
It is lost if you close the tab without saving. The browser decides the file format (WebM in Chrome and Firefox, MP4 in Safari).
Good to know
- Camera and microphone only work on secure (HTTPS) pages, and you must allow the browser's permission prompt.
- For screen recording you pick the tab, window or screen to share; ending the share with the browser's stop button still saves the recording.
- Chunks pile up in memory, so recording stops automatically at 500 MB. Save in parts for long sessions.
- Many mobile browsers do not support screen capture (getDisplayMedia).
- Check whether you need consent before recording other people or what they say.
FAQ
The saved WebM will not open.
WebM opens in modern players (VLC, Chrome, recent Windows Media Player). For MP4, record in Safari or use a converter.
Screen sound is not recorded.
Turn on "Share tab audio" in the picker. System audio for whole-screen sharing is often supported only on Windows with Chrome.
Is anything uploaded?
No. This page has no upload feature at all; everything happens in the browser.
