Web Page & RSS Checker
Enter an address and our server visits it to check titles, descriptions, Open Graph preview data, response headers, redirects and the SSL certificate expiry — or inspect an RSS/Atom feed for common problems.
This tool makes our server visit the address you enter. The address and results are not stored or logged, and private or internal addresses are never contacted. Do not enter pages that need a login or addresses containing passwords.
How this works
- Our server visits the address you enter. Private IPs, internal networks and reserved addresses are blocked before connecting, re-checked at every redirect, and only the verified IP is used.
- The SSL certificate is read with verification left on. If the certificate is already invalid you get an error instead of an expiry date.
- Only the first 512 KB of the body is read. Types such as images and PDFs are cut off after the headers.
- Results and the address are not stored. To prevent abuse it is limited to 6 checks per minute per IP.
FAQ
Can it check pages that need a login?
No. It connects without credentials, so only public pages can be checked.
It opens on my site but says "cannot be contacted".
For security, private network addresses (192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x …), localhost and names that cannot be resolved are never contacted.
Does it tell me my search ranking?
No. It only checks meta tags and the response status.
